Filler Aftercare
DO be patient. Give 2-4 weeks for results to settle.
DO expect swelling and bruising
DO take Tylenol, arnica, or bromelain as needed
DON’T lay on treated areas for 4 hours
DON’T work out for 24 hours
DON’T smoke or suck a straw for 1 week if lips treated
DON’T drink alcohol for use NSAIDs for 24 hours to avoid bruising
DON’T wear makeup for 8 hours
DON’T manipulate face for 2 weeks
Vascular Occlusions are a rare but serious risk. Contact us immediately with any bruising that begins to spread or blanch, continued pain, excessive heat to the area or feeling generally unwell.
Neuromodulator Aftercare
DO be patient. Give 2-4 weeks for results to settle.
DO expect a mild headache
DO take Tylenol, arnica, or bromelain as needed
DON’T lay on treated areas for 4 hours
DON’T work out for 24 hours
DON’T use a sauna or excessively sweat for 72 hours
DON’T drink alcohol for use NSAIDs for 24 hours to avoid bruising
DON’T wear makeup for 8 hours
DON’T manipulate face for 2 weeks
Full results will be seen at 2 weeks but effects may start to be seen as early as 2-3 days. Results should last 2-4 months for Botox and Dysport and 6-9 months for Daxxify but will gradually wear off during that time. Follow up at 2 weeks for any necessary touch ups.
Skin Resurfacing Aftercare
Avoid sun exposure, strenuous exercise, saunas, jacuzzis
Make sure to hydrate
Only use provided products. No products with acids or retinoids
Avoid Alcohol
Varying degree of swelling can and may occur
Redness and heat can last for 24-48 hours
DON’T take NSAIDs, only Tylenol and Benadryl as needed
Do NOT pick, rub, or unnecessarily touch your skin, let it slough off naturally
Make-up can be applied and can resume normal skincare routine
Continue to wear sunscreen daily and avoid direct sunlight as much as possible
Tighter and brighter skin will be seen almost immediately but full results take about 6 months
