How to Prepare

One of the best things about Genius RF is that there is little preparation required. Before your appointment, wash your face with a mild cleanser. Do not apply any makeup, lotion, or other topical products.

You should avoid applying irritating skin care products, including exfoliating products and retinoids, for at least four days before your session. You should also avoid sun exposure in the weeks leading up to your appointment.

Genius RF Microneedling FAQs

Genius RF Microneedling goes much deeper into the skin, allowing it to tighten the skin more than other technologies. This full-body treatment can dissolve unwanted fat, lift the face, address crepey skin on the stomach, and reduce scars. It can be used on face, neck, decollete, loose arm skin, front and back of legs, and stomach. A series of 3 treatments is suggested for best results. 

You can anticipate the effects to last two to three years. Follow-up annual maintenance sessions will help you keep a high rate of new collagen production.

You do not need frequent Genius RF sessions to show major results. Initially, you will need two to three sessions to see your desired outcome. From there, you can have maintenance sessions once per year, depending on the concern that is being treated. 

A Genius RF microneedling session typically takes around 2 hours; the first hour is spent numbing, and then 30 to 60 minutes for the actual treatment time, depending on the body area being treated.
