How HALO Works

The Treatment Process
Before your HALO treatment, your laser technician will apply a topical anesthetic to your skin to numb the area before using the handheld HALO device to emit laser light into your skin. Thanks to an integrated cooling mechanism on the device, this process is cool and comfortable.
HALO Aftercare
About two to three days after your laser skin resurfacing treatment, you will notice a sandpaper-like texture to your skin. This occurs because of the microscopic epidermal necrotic debris (MENDS) making its way to the surface. This will fall off around four to seven days after your session.
In the days following your session, you should use a gentle cleanser to wash your face and then apply a nourishing moisturizer. Apply UV sunscreen daily and avoid direct or prolonged sun exposure for the first two weeks after your treatment. Your laser technician can provide further instructions for aftercare during your consultation.
