About DAXXIFY

How Does DAXXIFY Work?

Little to no preparation is required before DAXXIFY treatment, but you should avoid certain things in the days leading up to your appointment. These include:

  • Allergy medication
  • Aspirin
  • Sleep medications or supplements
  • Topical steroids
  • St. John’s Wort
  • Supplements containing Vitamin E
  • Ibuprofen

During your DAXXIFY session, a small needle will be used to administer your injections. You will likely feel a slight pinch at the injection site. If you are worried about discomfort during this process, ask your team member to apply a topical numbing cream beforehand.

DAXXIFY requires little downtime afterward. Most people resume their normal activities immediately following their session. You may notice that the injection site is swollen or red in the hours following treatment. There may also be tenderness in this spot. These effects are usually minimal and dissipate in the hours after your session.

You will gradually see the effects of Daxxify set in over the course of ten days after treatment. Full results are achieved after fourteen days.

Many people choose to get frown line treatment repeated every three to six months.
